Walnut Thin Edge Platform Bed

This Bed is hand built by the Pete Deeble Furniture Studio in Long Beach, California. The design is based on the classic George Nelson, thin edge style.

All bed parts (besides the slats) are solid walnut (or whatever other timber you choose).

The total footprint is 62" wide x 83" deep, and the top of the headboard is around 40" but can be adjusted up or down to accommodate your mattress. The height of the platform is 11.5". The wood is beautiful black walnut. There are three center legs to provide additional support in the middle of the bed.
